Executive experience – Southern Africa MKT1
Day 1
On arrival at O.R Tambo International airport you will be met by a Madikela tours representative and after all the necessary formalities be transferred to your accommodation in Sandton city. We make use of the Michelangelo Hotel but it is subjected to availability. Alternatively we will make use of the same standard of accommodation within the same area. In Sandton you will have exposure to highly recommended restaurants as well as one of the bigger shopping centres in South Africa.

Day 2/3
On day 2 you fly to the eastern side of Limpopo province. After a fairly short flight you will be transferred to Kapama Lodge for check in. At Kapama you will spend your time looking at the marvels of nature but more specifically the wild animals of Africa. Well qualified ranger will take you on an unforgettable experience traversing trough the African bush – day and night. There is also ample time to spend next to the pool or at the bar during the hot hours of day. Apart from the Game Farm there is also an adjacent section that is involved with the rehabilitation of scarce and endangered species. Here you will have the opportunity to get in close proximity to animals like cheetah and wild dog.

Day 4/5
After 2 days of animal spotting you will be transfer to the airport for your flight to Ehlatini Lodge in the beautiful Limpopo province. Arriving at Ehlatini you will be met by your host and transferred to your accommodation. During the 2 days at Ehlatini you can enjoy South African hospitality at its best. Here you can do hiking and birding at your own leisure and just relax in the tranquillity of the African bush.

Day 6/7
Today you will fly across the boarders of South Africa to the town of Maun – the tourist capital of Botswana. We will transfer onto a smaller plane and fly into the famous Okavango Delta to Guns Camp – experiencing Africa first hand.

Day8/9
From the Delta we fly into the hart of the Makgadikgadi pans to Jack’s camp where you will enjoy two nights in tranquillity and peace. Although there’s no electricity, these two nights will be spend in absolute comfort. The vastness is unforgettable and here you have the opportunity to encounter the almost extinct Koi-San culture. Jack’s camp also has its own family of Meerkats and will keep you entertained for hours on end. Out-rides and sundowners onto the world famous pans promise to be a once in a lifetime experience. (FB) Day 10/11 The flight of today takes on towards the northern part of Botswana. In the town of Kasane you stay in the Chobe Marina Lodge which is situated on the banks of the Chobe River. This massive water mass is a safe haven to thousands of elephants and many other animal species. A three hour sunset boat cruise give a different perspective on game viewing. You also have the opportunity to book a day tour to the spectacular Victoria Falls. (FB) Day 12 Your African experience is coming to an end and today you fly back to the capital city of Gauteng – Johannesburg. You spend the last night of your travels again in Sandton and this is your last opportunity to get your hands on that elusive diamond or tanzanite. (BB) Day 13 Your Madikela representative will meet you at your hotel to help you with your transfer to O.R Tambo international airport. Saying good bye is never an easy encounter but hopefully its only good bye till next time.
